Submitting Artwork

We also accept all standard removable media such as CD or DVD.

Fonts & Graphics

Please include all photos, logos and other placed graphics along with the fonts used in your files. We strongly recommend using built-in packaging utilities which come with some software applications.

Converting fonts to outlines is a good method for avoiding font issues, however the text is uneditable so you'll want to make a copy of the original before doing this.

Photographs and/or scanned images must be provided at a minimum of 300 dpi, 100% reproduction size for optimal print quality.

Line art must be provided at a minimum of 1200 dpi, 100% reproduction size for optimal print quality.

Save these images in Photoshop (PSD), TIFF or EPS format.

Vector-based art can be saved in Illustrator (AI) or EPS format.

Design Elements and Federal Laws
(Legal Requirements)

Required elements for certain types of labels, like net weight statements, USDA “bugs”, or NLEA nutrition facts boxes, all have specifications about which a designer will need to know. There are rules concerning type weight, type height, and the position of information on a label that must be followed. If this is relevant to the label you are designing, all of the information needed can be obtained from the governmental agency which controls the manufacture and distribution of your product.
